Lenticular Paper Cup
Key Features
Rotate the sleeve to see a galloping horse, adding a fun element.
Rotating Double-Wall Cup
Implementation
Hot air softens the paper at the bottom, and through the combined pressure of knurling and the outer mold, a raised section (5) is formed at the bottom. The curled edge (6) rests on top of this raised section, preventing the outer wrap from detaching while allowing rotation.
Limitation
The cup bottom requires an embossed raised section with a depth of at least 8 mm.
Action
Small-batch production testing; reworking of the outer wrap recessed bottom mold; patent application tracking.
Extension
This design can be extended to enable adhesive-free double-wall construction, offering environmental and food safety advantages.
